On this website you won't only see pictures of the Alps or the stunning summits of the Himalayas. You will find lots of interesting facts about pretty much every mountain range of the world, their formation, particularities and their destruction.

The "continue" button will lead you step by step through all of the pages. Some links within a page will open a new pop-up window. In order to fully enjoy the site you should have activated Java Script in your browser and installed Flash as well.

As you may see when looking at my portrait I am Swiss. I did my best to use the correct English terms. In case you find mistakes anyway please send me a little note and I will correct the site as soon as possible.
